The impact was multidimensional and affected the demand, types of fabrics, fashion apparels, development of hi-tech and eco- friendly clothing. The globalization also improved the economic condition of labors and employees of the Indian Textile Industry along with production automation of the industry in a manner that today it is ready to compete with the global textile industry.
