Pseudomonas Aeruginosa Tricuspid Valve Endocarditis in Non Drug User, Treated Successfully with Intravenous Antibiotics

A sixty-two year old female was admitted for management of bilateral pneumothorax. She was a febrile and her cardiac exam was unremarkable. She did not use intravenous drugs. Her blood cultures grew Pseudomonas aeruginosa, 2D transthoracic echocardiogram revealed a large mobile vegetation on a normal looking tricuspid valve, confirmed by the transesophogeal echocardiogram.
