The coastal zone refers to the transition region between the land and sea. It is one of the potential zones used by tourists to explore the mangrove ecosystem on coastal and marine tourism. The purpose of this study is to determine tourists’ satisfaction level with the mangrove environment and biodiversity. Data was collected from the Karangsong mangrove ecotourism area and Government offices in Indramayu District, from January to August 2019. The result showed that 33.2% of tourists are satisfied with the existence of biodiversity in 55.6% of the region. In conclusion, integrated coastal zone management is needed to improve sustainability and schedule management plans in the Karangsong mangrove tourism area.
