A systematic review of the literatures was used to review the research articles about training and development in eleven hospitality management journals. The keywords, i.e. “training” and “training and development”, were adopted to identify relevant articles. Twohundred and thirteen articles, which were published from 2005 to 2014, were selected by a review panel. Seventy-five articles were screened and then analyzed with the reference of nine categories recommended by the Association of Talent Development.
